Biography
He has 7 years of clinical experience in comprehensive eye care. He began his clinical experience at Sankara Eye Hospital, Chennai, and has worked as Senior Optometrist at Occura Eye Hospital and Research Center, Ahmedabad. He worked as Senior Optometrist and Contact Lens Incharge at Sankara Eye Hospital, Odisha for 6 years. He has extensive experience in managing and troubleshooting complex spectacle prescriptions. He has also attended training programs related to Contact Lens, Low Vision, and Myopia Management. He has experience in community ophthalmology, having worked for 2 years in Glaucoma Screening projects under Sight Savers.
Mr. Mohanty has been associated with Laxmi Eye Institute since May 2026. He is currently a Senior Optometrist and is also a faculty at Laxmi College of Optometry. His areas of interest are Specialty Contact Lens, Vision Therapy, Myopia Clinic, and Low Vision
