Biography

She did fellowship in Specialty Contact Lenses from Delhi in 2021.

She has 15+ years of clinical experience, she has previously worked with Brahma Laser Centre and Netrajot Eye Hospital as a Clinical Optometrist. Since January 2012, She has been associated with Laxmi Eye Institute, serving as Senior Clinical Optometrist.

Ms. Amita heads the Contact Lens Department at Laxmi Eye Institute. She manages and fits specialized contact lenses including Orthokeratology lenses for myopia control, Scleral lenses for irregular corneas & dry eye, Soft contact lenses, other specialty and custom made contact lenses.

She provides personalized guidance to patients based on their vision needs and lifestyle.

She is also actively involved with the LASIK department, supporting pre-operative and post-operative workup for Refractive/Lasik surgical patients.
