Biography

She completed her MBBS from B.J. Medical College, Pune, followed by a Master’s degree in Ophthalmology from Dr. V.M. Government Medical College, Solapur. She pursued a long- term Cornea Fellowship at Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai, one of India’s leading institutes for excellence in ophthalmic care, under internationally renowned cornea specialists Dr. M. Srinivasan and Dr. N. Venkatesh Prajna.

Her areas of interest include corneal diseases, cataract surgery, and comprehensive eye care, with a strong focus on restoring vision and improving patients’ quality of life. Dr. Pradnya believes in ethical practice, clinical excellence, and continuous learning to deliver the highest standard of eye care.

She is specialized in corneal transplants, including optical and lamellar keratoplasty, along with expertise in keratoconus management. She is experienced in managing ocular trauma, performing surgeries for corneal tears, foreign body removal, and scleral injuries. She is highly regarded for her gentle communication, meticulous surgical skills, and empathetic approach, ensuring patient comfort and confidence throughout their treatment journey.
